I found John’s Bartending Services through Yelp and, after reading the stellar reviews, decided to contact him. John and his team are the best! From the very beginning, John was on top of all communications and incredibly organized. Plus, throughout the entire process, I got a sense that nothing makes John and his team happier than going above and beyond expectations.
John was already working a different event the night of our party, so Janet (his wife) and Holli were our bartenders that evening. Janet and Holli are the best! They made sure our guests had whatever they wanted to drink – even running up and down to get mixed drinks or anything from the basement bar so guests didn’t have to leave the outside patio – checking on the food, helping throw out used plates/glasses and more. They were both so lovely and our guests adored them. Plus they took stellar care of us too, and we enjoyed actually being able to enjoy our party instead of running around all night trying to make sure everyone had everything they needed. John even stopped by after his event was done to make sure we were happy and to help Janet and Holli pack up for the night. Truly top notch customer service all around and great people. I received many compliments on his performance and even though some of my guests may have worn him out a bit, he took everything is stride with a smile on his face the entire time. I truly appreciated the clean up at the end and that he made sure all of the gusts were drinking water along with their cocktails. (As seen on Yelp) “John bartended for our wedding party for about 80 people and we couldn’t have been happier with him! He served a menu of 6 cocktails which we had pre-determined. From the very beginning John showed his true professionalism through all of our phone and e-mail correspondences leading up to the event. Upon arrival, he had the bar set up in about 15 minutes with all of the various liquors, mixers, and garnishes. Throughout the party he was friendly, fast, efficient, clean, and mixed up some very consistent, tasty cocktails. He fulfilled everything that was expected of him, but what really impressed us were the little touches that were unexpected…
John keeps very busy while he’s working. I never saw him sitting around during lulls in the ordering – not that I would’ve even consciously minded if he had been. When he wasn’t serving drinks he was hustling around with a tray bussing empty cups, bringing around glasses of water, cleaning…never asked him to do any of that, by the way, he took it upon himself to do it. He is attentive to say the least, but even more than that he is intuitive to the needs of the guests – and the hosts! He seemed to have a sixth sense about when I needed something and magically appeared with it. A glass of water when I was thirsty, a fresh cocktail just as I found myself in need of one; at one point he actually appeared out of nowhere with a napkin just as I had accidentally taken a particularly messy bite of pizza and found myself with pizza sauce all over my face. I don’t even think the thought that I needed a napkin had fully formed in my mind before the napkin had suddenly appeared in his outstretched hand. Like I said, intuitive!
He offered to stay as long as we needed him. He cleaned up before he left, and organized all of the bottles into opened and closed containers. Just before John left he said a very cordial goodbye and followed up with an equally cordial e-mail to thank us for hiring him and to check up and make sure we were satisfied; which, of course, we were!

They were so professional, punctual, affordable and organized and made pulling off this event incredibly easier than we could have thought. They bussed our tables, collected glasses, distributed water to tables of guests, washed glasses and would clearly have done anything necessary to ensure our event went smoothly and our guests were well taken care of.

“To answer your question as to if you lived up to our expectations the answer is YES, YES, YES! You definitely went above and beyond what we expected you would be doing. From taking out the garbage to clearing the dishes off of tables and interacting with our guests.
